Before joining LSG in 2001 Mr. Wendt served as a fielding team chief for Unit Level Logistics System-Aviation ULLS-A. Mr. Wendt has been involved the fielding of ULLS-G and SARSS Interim. Mr. Wendt is also actively involved in teaching Automatic Identification Technology (AIT) and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) to the war fighters going through the Multi Echelon Level Distribution Management courses at the Quartermasters’ School Ft. Lee Va. Mr. Wendt retired from the U.S. Navy with a rank of Chief Petty Officer. He served during Vietnam as an Aviation Ordnance man for Light Attack Squadron 12 (VA-12) NAS Cecil Field Fl. that deployed on board the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. Later he joined Patrol Squadron 62 (VP-62) at NAS Jacksonville Fl. He has served as a NATOPS Certified P-3 Aviation Ordnance man and Aft Observer. Mr. Wendt also served with VP 66, NAS Willow Grove Pa., VP-94 NAS Belle Chasse La. and VC-10 NAS Oceana Va. Mr. Wendt retired in 1986. Mr. Wendt holds a BS in Occupational Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale IL.
