LSG Inc. is currently providing logistics support to AMC through two separate contracts.
One contract involves the reconciliation of supply requisitions between each unit in Kuwait, Afghanistan, Iraq, Horn of Africa and their sources of supply in that theater. LSG Inc. developed an automated process called the Automated Reconciliation Tool (ART) to perform this function. It is used daily in the Southwest Asia Theater of Operations.
LSG Inc. is also providing logistics support to AMC through a subcontract with AT&T. We are providing Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the development and operation of the Funds Control and Middleware processes that are used in conjunction with the Standard Army Retail Supply System (SARSS). These processes pass financial data generated through the requisitioning process in SARSS to the Standard Army Financial System (STANFINS), which is managed and operated by the Defense Financial Accounting System (DFAS). Funding is obligated or de-obligated, as the case may be, in STANFINS and the resulting status is returned to SARSS for processing.
